Slash is the new black

Slash is a brand new library space for Toi Shan Association College — but it's much more than a library.

The name ""Slash"" originates from Marci Alboher's 2007 book titled One Person/Multiple Careers: A New Model for Work/Life Success which delineates the phenomenon of slash in our contemporary society. From naming to spatial design, Slash embodies the concept of slash lifestyle as a space for library/exhibition/new media. Through versatile design and distinct branding, the library is transformed from a traditional single use space that is increasingly outdated to a multi-use learning hub where students of different ages can enjoy interaction and leisure time, as well as discover their way of learning.

One Person/Multiple Careers: A New Model for Work/Life Success,描述了現今世代的對多元生活的追求。

Slash
1. The Gallery ––
3. The Screen ––
