The design is based on the concept of "touch", "movement", "joy" and "reading" of ""Feel in the ____ (Library)", which is transformed from "Fill in the ___ (blank)". The exhibition is based on the building of the Hong Kong Central Library. The animated story is about the magical experience of grandfather and grandson in the Hong Kong Central Library, taking the grandson to grandfather's memory palace and observing all the old memories of Hong Kong.

The interactive exhibition combines story scenes with convergent technology into five interactive experience zones: "Interactive Experience Book", "Hologram Augmented Reality Experience", "Immersive Experience", "Plain View Experience" and "Text Interactive Experience", creating a new non-linear reading and multiple angles experience that allows readers to communicate with the story characters in the book through applied technologies of leap-motion, hologram, infrared sensing, elevation with sound exploration, LED screen with sensors and also arcade gaming with text. It allows readers to communicate with the characters in the book and appreciate the library's precious document collection to feel a brand new and different reading experience.

設計以「Fill in the ___(blank)」幻化成「Feel in the ____ (Library)」的「觸」、「動」、「喜」和「閱」為概念，以建館二十年的香港中央圖書館建築本體為主角，參考大樓中象徵「知識之門」的拱門，拼湊十二個象徵「天圓地方」和「知識累積成塔」的幾何圖形。動畫故事內容講述 ﹕爺爺和孫兒在香港中央圖書館的神奇經歷，帶孫兒到達爺爺的記憶宮殿，觀摩過去種種老香港回憶。

互動展覽結合故事場景與融合科技，化成五個互動體驗區：「互動體驗書」、「全息投影擴增實境體驗」、「沉浸式體驗」、「平視式體驗」和「文字互動體驗」，營造一個全新非線性閱讀體驗，讓讀者分別從：配合手部感應裝置 (Leap-Motion)跟書中角色溝通、全息投影 (Hologram)、紅外線感應 (infrared sensing)、加上仰視角度配合聲音探索、LED 屏幕配合感應裝置互動和以文字動畫互動遊戲等不同角度，置身故事章節，欣賞圖書館珍貴文獻館藏，全新感受不一樣的閱讀體驗。
